I can not say enough about how perfect this home was for our family. This is our 6th year taking our growing family to Lake Chatuge. It is hard to find a big enough house to accommodate our family. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 3 down. There is one full bathroom downstairs that the 3 bedrooms share. Also down stairs there is a game room and hang out area. Upstairs the kitchen is great! First, it is fully stocked even with items I wouldn’t have thought of. They even had corn on the cobb holders! Both a Keurig and drip coffee maker! The cookware is very nice and there are plenty of plates and silverware! Also, they had containers for leftovers. There is a sunroom and living room upstairs which gave plenty of room for hanging out and playing cards/board games. The kitchen table sits 8 and 4 stools at the kitchen bar! Plenty of seating for everyone to eat together. There are 2 decks, one covered and one uncovered! The dock was great. It was covered in shade in the evening so sitting and enjoying the sunset was amazing. The view is just beyond words! We loved sitting on the deck and having our morning coffee and sitting on the deck in the evenings. Swimming around the dock was great because it is back in a nice quiet cove! We brought our kayaks and it was a perfect area to kayak. There is a small bridge pass the cove that boats can not fit under so it is peaceful and perfect for kayaks. The cove was just perfect! We had our grandchildren, 5 and 7, and the cove was great for them to tube in. Last year they would not tube, but this year they would not stop 🙂 I feel sure it was the quiet cove that built their confidence. We will definitely stay again!

The house accommodates a lot of people and is decorated and appointed nicely. It was very clean upon arrival and the outdoor dining area is wonderful. The neighborhood is also lovely, and the location is close to town and other amenities like Bell Mountain, hikes, and shopping are close. One downside is that there are only 3 full bathrooms with two being ensuite. So, for a large group, sharing bathrooms for showering becomes a bit challenging. The privacy for those staying in those two rooms is somewhat compromised. We made it work so all was good. The management company is very responsive and if you need anything at all they are there quickly to bring whatever you may need. Easy walk to the lake even though it appears steep in pictures. Nice quiet area on the lake with minimal boat traffic. All in all a great house for a family reunion. Thanks for a great stay.

This was an amazing home and lake house to rent for a long weekend girls trip! The layout was perfect with multiple porches and spots to relax. We all loved the large, gorgeous kitchen for cooking meals together. With the boat dock and hot tub, we were set for a relaxing weekend with plenty of space for large group to relax and enjoy. Priscilla was very responsive and easy to work with for the few minor issues that came up during the stay. Highly recommend!!

Angel’s Envy was perfect for our family reunion! Everything about this house was exceptional. Our host, Priscilla was extremely helpful during our stay. We would definitely book this house again!!
