We had a wonderful time at our stay in the Bellissimo. The cabin was clean and fit our needs perfectly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly what we needed. Everyone had their privacy yet there were spaces for all of us to gather together. The porches, the dock and the yard were great escapes from our busy lives. I so appreciate that you met my needs when it came to the laundry and your response for garbage pick-ups. We will stay again..

This house is top notch. Best lake house I’ve stayed in. So much room for multiple people, great dock for kids and adults, the view cannot be beat! A few things could be worked on in the house, some noisy fans, doors that don’t lock properly etc…but wouldn’t deter us from staying there again!

Loved the house. Very clean and roomy. Beautiful double level dock the kids loved !!! We all had a great time and House was well stocked with supplies so we didn’t need to buy anything but food and drinks!! Recommend owner think about adding tvs to bedrooms. That was the only thing missing that the kids would have liked !

Best view of the lake and mountains sitting on the great deck! The home is beautiful. It is located near restaurants and bars. We were able to antique shop and go to a nearby park trail.

* Kitchen is fully stocked including a stock pot, toaster, blender, griddle, waffle maker and an ice cream maker
* Living room, with plenty of seating Tv is streaming, and a wood burning fireplace
* Dining room has seating for 10 people. Half bath, laundry room, mud room and garage is also on the main floor
* Bedroom #1 King Master bedroom

Neighborhood

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 25-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft (rentals available from local marinas). Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) 15 minutes from the property. The Chatuge Dam Trail (17 minutes away) offers a paved, dog-friendly path for those who want an easy stroll with sweeping views of the lake and mountains. Fires Creek Recreation Area (30-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 35-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as tubing and zip lining. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

*There are several excellent boat rental places in the area, including Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters and Margarita Jacks.

Feel free to enjoy the dock. The owners' boat may be docked at the dock during your stay. It is not part of the rental and is not available for guest use.
If you bring or rent a boat, you're welcome to use the dock. Please be mindful of the water depth when docking, as it can vary depending on lake conditions.
