The Living Spaces:
The main living area features a cozy gas fireplace, large TV, and comfy seating for movie nights or rainy-day lounging. The kitchen comes fully stocked with essentials—including a Keurig, crock pot, blender, and stock pot—perfect for cooking up a hearty post-hike meal.

Downstairs, a quiet landing area includes a sitting nook and a designated workspace with a desk and dual computer monitors—ideal for remote workers or a quick check-in before adventure calls.

Outdoor Highlights:

Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
