The lower-level landing offers an additional sitting area plus a dedicated workspace with a desk and dual computer monitors—perfect for remote work when you need to stay connected during your mountain getaway.

At Altitude Adjustment, there are plenty of places to gather—and plenty of places to sneak away for a little peace and quiet.

One of the best things about Altitude Adjustment is its location. Spend the morning on Lake Chatuge, hike to a waterfall in the afternoon, visit a local winery, explore a mountain town, or simply come home, sink into the hot tub, and enjoy the mountain air.

Enjoy a peaceful mountain setting close to the best of North Georgia and Western North Carolina. Lake Chatuge and public lake access are just minutes away, with Towns County Beach & Playground about 10 minutes away. Downtown Hiawassee, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and Hamilton Gardens are about 10–15 minutes away.

Young Harris College is 15–20 minutes away, and Crane Creek Vineyards, Bell Mountain and Jackrabbit Recreation Area are about 20–25 minutes away. Drive 25–30 minutes to charming downtown Hayesville or about 30–35 minutes to Fires Creek Recreation Area and the High Shoals Falls Trail.

Georgia’s highest peak, Brasstown Bald, is about 35–40 minutes away, while Alpine Helen is roughly 35–45 minutes away. For even more entertainment, Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino in Murphy is about 45–50 minutes away. Hiking, waterfalls, wineries, restaurants, lake activities and mountain adventures are all within an easy drive.

• NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.

• NO PETS: This is a pet-free property. Pets are not permitted.

• NO PARTIES OR EVENTS: This home is located in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a reasonable level.

• FIRE PIT: Guests should bring their own firewood for the wood-burning fire pit. If you'd rather have firewood waiting for you, contact us before your stay and we can arrange delivery for an additional charge.

• GAS GRILL: A gas grill is provided for your use. We supply the propane, with one tank connected to the grill and a spare tank located nearby.

*HOT TUB CARE: Your comfort and cleanliness are important to us. Our hot tub is completely drained, cleaned, sanitized, and refilled with fresh water after every guest stay. Because we start each stay with fresh water, the hot tub may still be reaching its ideal temperature when you arrive, especially on same-day turnovers.

Exterior Security Cameras:
For guest and property security, exterior cameras are located around the property. There are no cameras inside the home.

Camera locations include:

- Ring doorbell camera at the front entrance, facing the entry and front driveway.
- Blink camera on the deck, facing the deck and lower driveway.
- Blink camera under the deck, facing the trash area, basement entrance, and garage door.
- Blink camera at the single-car garage, facing the garage area and backyard.
- Blink camera below the front porch gutter, facing the side yard and fire pit area.
